Í ofgnóttinni fjarlægist ég. Í stað þess að verða skilvirk handbeini framkvæmda sem móttekur og afhendir jafnóðum, leggst ég undir strauminn. Beljandi straum hugmynda, ofgnótt allsnægta alls sem er og hugsast getur svo úr verður hálfgerð apatía. Doði. Ekki sinnulaus, þvert á móti.

Gunnar Jónsson (f. 1988) er fæddur í Reykjavík en ólst upp á Ísafirði og býr þar og starfar í dag. Gunnar lauk BA-prófi í myndlist frá Listaháskóla Íslands árið 2012 og hefur sýnt talsvert á Íslandi og erlendis síðan hann útskrifaðist. Gunnar er í stjórn sýningarsalarins Úthverfu.

Gunnar Jónsson (b. 1988) was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, but moved to his hometown Ísafjörður shortly after. He attended the Icelandic Academy of Arts from 2009 to 2012, prior to that he took a preparatory year in Reykjavík School of Visual arts.

He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Iceland and abroad. He is a member of the artist-run Gallerí Úthverfa/Outvert Art Space in Ísafjörður, Iceland. He currently lives and works in Ísafjörður, Iceland.
